What SKAMCHEK is

SKAMCHEK is a second opinion on anything you have been sent and are not sure about — a WhatsApp message, a screenshot of a chat, a payment link.

You send it, and in about ten seconds you get a risk level, the specific warning signs we found, and what to do next.

Why it exists

Nigerians lose money to the same handful of tricks every day: an upfront fee to release a prize, a job that charges you to start, a payment page that is one letter away from the real one.

The information to spot them exists. It is just never in front of you at the moment you are about to send money. That moment is the whole product.

What it does not do

It cannot confirm that a person or business is genuine, and it does not verify anyone’s identity. It finds warning signs; the absence of them is not a clearance.

It will never name someone as a criminal. Shared pages show risk signals only — never who you were talking to, and never what you submitted.

How it makes money

Your first check is free, and the verdict is free on every check. After the first, checks are ₦500 for two — ₦250 each — and add the evidence behind the verdict: where a link really goes, how old the site is, certificate checks, and a report you can send to your bank.

Safety information is never behind the payment. If money is at stake, you get the warning either way.
