What SKAMCHEK is

SKAMCHEK is a second opinion. It looks for warning signs in content you are unsure about and suggests next steps.

It cannot tell you for certain whether a message, person or business can be trusted, and it does not verify anyone’s identity. Always verify independently before paying.

Using the service

Do not submit your own passwords, PINs, OTPs or card numbers.

Do not use SKAMCHEK to harass, accuse or publish information about any named person or business.

Free checks are limited per device and per network each day.

Checks you have paid for

Checks are valid for 12 months from purchase. If one fails on our side, it is returned to your balance automatically.

Unused credits: email hello@guava-group.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund them in full.

A check that has already run is not refunded, because the work has been carried out. If a check fails on our side it is returned to your balance automatically and nothing is deducted.

Liability

SKAMCHEK is provided as it is. We work hard to get verdicts right, but we cannot promise the service will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, and a verdict is never a guarantee about any person, business or message.

The decision to pay, or not to pay, is always yours. We are not liable for money you lose, or for any other loss, arising from a decision you make after using SKAMCHEK.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here removes any liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law, including liability for fraud.
